On my way to work this morning this sudden heavy shower came through. That line stopped dead to my west , I could see it out my window, it just kept expanding sw to ne, cool stuff. Great pics and stories coming out.

nzucker
What a fail of a forecast today I don't think anyone expected such cool weather never mind flooding rains. I'm living in the Pelham Bay area of the Bronx, and I've been sitting at 64/59 with some sprinkles spitting out a slate gray sky. It's such a dramatic reversal from last week when the A/C at my work in Croton could barely keep up with the 95/70 conditions. I feel the need for a jacket now in mid July.
