If you think about the geographical area that at some point in the winter had 30< inches of snow on the ground, its pretty cool. Everyone had a big storm fetish and big snowpack fetish satiated that winter....ours came later in February and March, while you guys down south had it in January and February. This morning a line formed about 3 miles to my west of heavy stratus after a shower went by. That line stayed and eventually developed into the FF that is occurring.
