mattie g
Surprise this morning. Wasn't expecting it to get this chilly. 78 for high? Looks like the clouds may be about to lose out. If so, I think we'll get good daytime heating and it'll get well into the 80s.

RodneyS
Last yr I think. Rain among other things. It was the same day I referred to in the "Our region's extreme run" thread -- Saturday, July 21, 2012. After the blazing heat of early July, DCA recorded a temperature range of 71/67 that day, with 0.21 inches of rain.

WinterWxLuvr has clinched at least a tie for the win, with Yoda catching him with a max of 83 or higher and Eskimo Joe also catching him with a max of 84 or higher. RodneyS
Tomorrow looks to be about the same. Maybe just a shade cooler? Interesting to note that IAD's minimum this morning (58) was four degrees lower than yesterday's, but that DCA's minimum this morning (67) was two degrees higher than yesterday's. Wind. IAD was able to radiationally cool better with a near-calm wind, while DCA didn't have the benefit of the wind to shoo away the river/city warmth.
