MACoastWx
Yeah changes are minor but ESVA went from trace on 12z to over .25 QPF on 18z...probably a blip tho
WinterWxLuvr
Seems intitially that it really tries to come north, then gets squashed. Probably just the way the sim radar makes it look.
CAPE
up next 18z gfs...if its a tad closer this board will be hoppin again for the 0z runs. never know- this has been so bizzare, the extreme flip flopping in all the models....could still be interesting for the coastal areas. I noticed the same thing...this model still seems to reek of convective feedback issues.

IsentropicLift
Much better ridging on the 18z gfs in my opinion. I guess it all depends how far east the low over Florida makes it before it amplifies
wthrmn654
i may see 5 or 10 flakes unless it comes back west again but still eastern long island might see a smidgen of something..
needbiggerboat
18z gfs holds some promise at the end of it's (somewhat) useful range...180.

SnowGoose69
18z gfs holds some promise at the end of it's (somewhat) useful range...180. The setup is not great but not awful either, the NAO is neutral to positive but those lingering SE Canada vortexes could be enough to create a favorable environment for something.
