ctsnowstorm628
LOL at the GFS printing out 40s for Thursday AM..doubt it gets below 55 in a lot of places...guidance has been awful (especially the GFS) with these colder periods within the last month. Euro has 55 at BDL...GFS has 47...not happening.
Brian5671
Do you know what the climo for dews is down in that area in July? I have to think its rare for the south shore of CT to see 50s in July. That would probably translate to dews in the 30s up here. Sure it is, but we're barely been into the 60's. Dews have been 70 or better 98% of the time going back to late June-that's impressive. ctsnowstorm628
Hey hey where have you been this summer? You don't like hashing out dew points on Internet forums all day? Hey I've been interning full time out at AccuWeather in State College, PA since May! Hell of an experience when it comes to forecasting. I've learned so much. Oh yeah, and I'm 21 now
Brian5671
Yeah that is... I don't know how you guys deal. I guess lots of air conditioning? yep, it's been on from roughly June 21st on. Usually we get several breaks where I can turn it off and open up the house-not this year....although we barely ran it before then due to all the cool air/rain for the 1st 3 weeks of June. powderfreak
It's July. We will torch again. Those that love the heat and humidity seem to think the rest of us believe its October and we are in the 70s until winter. It's mid-July...it's going to torch again, probably several more times. That's what happens in the summer. Once we get to mid September we can start entertaining the idea of 85F+ torches being done.
