N. OF PIKE
WCVB on air now, said you should take tornado precautions now. What the heck are precautions for a 1% chance or less of an ef-0 tornado. Yawn?
New England Storm
I think the ocm should not have even talked about the rotation just Would cause panic IMO

It's Always Sunny
I think the ocm should not have even talked about the rotation just Would cause panic IMO Typical media hype. Let's not go down that road again; there were like 3 pages of debate on another thread about that.
CT Rain
Typical media hype. Let's not go down that road again; there were like 3 pages of debate on another thread about that. Except the severe thunderstorm warning mentioned "while not immediately likely a short lived tornado may form."

ROOSTA
These are nice images. I'm assuming you have GRLevel. I have it myself and there are always new things to learn with it. That being said, how did you insert that storm motion vector? I've been trying to figure that out for quite some time now. If you want you can PM me or just post it on this thread. Thanks! GRLevel2, fun to play around with. The vector is homegrown with Paint-shop and an approximation. You can use the vectors (storm tracks) inside the program but will not display to a hardcopy. There already scrolling for the storms moving into local area.
joey2002
Decent line of storms north of here, up towards Monson, Mass.
It's Always Sunny
Except the severe thunderstorm warning mentioned "while not immediately likely a short lived tornado may form." As an on-air met you have to cover your bases with that type of thing as you know because that's your liability. I was just being very general when I said typical media hype, especially with all the crazy news we've had this summer, weather aside. It gets old and repetitive after a while. GRLevel2, fun to play around with. The vector is homegrown with Paint-shop and an approximation. You can use the vectors (storm tracks) inside the program but will not display to a hardcopy. There already scrolling for the storms moving into local area. Nice paint-shop skills then, lol. I have played with the storm tracks before but it has never really done anything for me which leads me to assume I am doing something wrong, or the storm motion vector on that program isn't really great in general. Guess I'll just have to keep playing around with it.
