Ginx snewx
That's an awful lot of easterly flow up here to be considered very swampy for D5-7...wet? Yes. Maybe if the D7 low goes inland we get the subtropical airmass, but the Euro tracks it over SE MA. His perspective is south. Rain ruining Ryans Branford beach day? Only once from 1952-55. BOS hit exactly 100 on four dates during that time period: 6/26/1952, 7/23/1952, and 9/2/1953, and 8/5/1955.

Yes, BOS hit 100F in 1952, 1953, and 1955...they actually hit 100F in 1948 and 1949 as well...so if you stretched it out it was 5 out of 8 years...or 4 out of 6 from 1948-1953. Amazingly the 9/2/1953 isn't Boston's latest 100F reading. That goes to 9/7/1881 when it hit 102.

That last one is almost not believable (102 is 2 off the alltime record, nevermind the date), but I guess it happened. It was at the older site further away from the water, so that probably gave it a slightly better chance.
CoastalWx
BOS with a 230 wind. Thats the direction I mentioned yesterday that may make it tough to hit 100. At that velocity it should be 240 or better. It also adds more of a downslope component too when you have that direction. They could always flip to 240 or 250 and then they furnace off the city so we will have to see.
