Heh, let's let the chips fall where they may just yet before making that determination.  Granted, trends suggest falling short of 103 at BOS, but the 1pm ob may be telling.

If it pops 98 or 100, then they got a shot at tying ...already we are nearing the MAV MOS numbers, and the hottest hour of the day at this time of year isn't for another 3 hours.

Too soon to downplay.  Also, some of these DPs have surpassed what it did on that day in 2011.  78F at Farmingdale...

Wonder what the dews were on 8/2/75.  That remain's Logan's highest recorded minimum (83) and mean (92.5).

"Fort Belvoir is 93/83."  :yikes:

Time for a forced march?

BOS was 100/70 at one ob on 8/2/75....not sure what their worst was as the 102F high that day appears to have occurred between obs.

BOS mixed out their dews into the lower 60s on 7/22/11 IIRC before they reached 100F. I don't recall 8/14/02 (101 high at BOS) being overly humid either.

Seems bos will be very close to 100/70 when they clock in at 2pm or in between

The Bronx is burning, god please no, my power house and chiller system are complete max, DPs above 77 are disaster for cooling. our chilled water is 48 degrees though and due to good planning and constant weather awareness I was able to drop temps Wed night way below setpoints when the dew was less. lots of complaints of cold areas Thurs but staff was alerted that today would be the apex of summer and all systems would be taxed to the max. Any power loss would be disaster immediately.

Have you seen the bronx is burning fdny special from the70's by the BBC? My god they had like six fires a day due to arson

BOS performing well today AWT with that strong downslope wind....ORH kind of shat the bed, they were up to 86F at 10am and only 90F at 1pm. Likely no records there this afternoon.

PVD is a bit surprising right now to me. Their record of 100F might be doable. They are keeping enough westerly component to avoid any sound taint.

Will you are amazing. I swear if someone asked you "what was the temperature and weather on March 17, 1988 at 5pm? You would have the answer off the top of your head.

REMARKABLE!

Heh..i didn't have the dewpoint memorized if you are implying that. I had to look it up. Knowing the dates of the heat waves helps though for looking up exact numbers quickly.
