DC had dews if AOA 70 through Sunday. Steve kind of called that one too. So little relief for me and we may be muggy upon my return Wednesday night.

probably rainy too, yeah seems south of NYC gets less relief but pretty much normal in the MA to be hot and sticky year round, just kidding kids

Sorry....my bad. I think the other further south had many more in June and even May but I'm unsure..

BOS should end up with 12-14 for July. Not too shabby.

No worries.  Just pointing out this unique pattern and how warm its been the first 3 weeks of July in the northeast vs the southeast.  Bos looks like a lock for at least 12.  Not sure how many the last 10 days but suspect guidance may start to trend warmer for the  7/24 - 7/26 period.

prefrontal as the warm front passes, Friday could be warm but transient heat ahead of the next front. LP midweek could bring some needed synoptic rain. I am pretty confident every single member of this subforum is looking forward to turning off the AC and fans and letting the fresh air in, including Mr Hype

It sits right on the Potomac so it might be a little exaggerated due to its location.. BWI was up to a 76 DP today and that is inland.. Wouldn't completely discount it. IAD also reached a DP of 76...

Makes me remember that 106F day in 2011. It was a Friday. Us freshman had a 6am punishment run.. The DP was like today and it was 86 at 5-6am. Some of the most oppressive, disgusting experience I've ever had in my life.

Yeah DCA is 86/79 currently with a HI of 100 at midnight, lol.

Wow, I can't even imagine having to run in that weather... ouch.
