I do think we will turn muggy again later next week, and then another front perhaps moves through.

yep after the rains of Wed/Thursday Friday turns warm and muggy before the next frontal passage, pretty much as envisioned. Euro keeps getting cooler this time instead of warmer, now that is a change in itself that even Tippycanoe can not deny.

That's because its like talking about a 180 hour blizzard on the NOGAPS...the chance we get a 594dm ridge retrograding back into the OH Valley again is remote.

The WAR will likely come back at some point...but it does almost every year in August. Just not like what we saw.

Of course it won't...but we could see something like we saw 7/3-7/7...that was pretty warm and humid

LOL after all the dire death warnings from the media, it turned into a great day in BOS. 82/66.

I had to laugh at the climate nuts on the news today, guess they forgot to mention the record lows and the fact its cooler down south than up North. We are all doomed, no saving us from the inferno.... until Sunday that is

it's been an odd one...rains through 6/17, then blowtorch from 6/25 to now...what's next?   Wouldn't mind some typical summer days--say 85/60 during the PM...havent seen much of that...

you will see some COC days this week, some rainy days , some muggy days, summer

Sure, I wouldn't be shocked if we saw more warm/humid periods...in fact, I'd be shocked if we didn't. But in that case it would be a bit deceptive to say "the historic pattern repeating" if we simply had another round of warmth and humidity that isn't of magnitude of what we are seeing this week.

Nothings changed, only a day or two of cooling............

Alot of ego in this thread. Please tone it.

As the Apex approaches we can now look forward to signs of fall. Hazelnuts are dropping now, will not be that long before the first swamp maples begin to reddin. A couple of weeks and the tomatoes will be in abundance, hown grown sweet corn will be ready for picking, 3 weeks and college kids will be packing and kissing their mommas goodbye. Am I excited, yes.
