I can not wait until the first day after the pattern change with high dews for Kev to say AIT. ITS inevitable.

Well he is going to use dew points to signal if the change happened or not. To him it doesn't matter how the pattern arrives at dews of 60+, (it could come from east flow, NW flow, SE flow, whatever), just if it does then nothing has changed.

We've never seen someone so obsessed with a dew point until this summer, lol. We will need to revisit this in winter....if the dew is 20F and then a pattern change comes bringing us a different flow but the dew remains 20F, did anything really change?

I just outlined my thoughts and I didn't say anything like that. Please re -read and if you have a question please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you

The debate will rage but cpc maps have "BN" normal temps in the 6-10 period, 10-14 has the NE US as "N"  compared to the "AN" regime already in the books.

ECWMF has the ridge building west with heights substantially lower in the east. But its summer and wtfcares.

IT'S A SORCHA!

ENDLESS TORCH-WE MUST TORCH TO LABOR DAY

I heard months and months of high dews until November....Maybe just month and month?  lol

Meanwhile, still waiting for my first 90° reading this heatwave.  My temp has been hovering at 88° for several hours but we have several more hours and days to go.

92/69 with a freshening E breeze (120). How often does that happen at BOS!

120 wind direction crosses the runway and field by about a mile so plenty of time to warm. And those temps mean the seabreeze is extremely shallow. I've seen 90s there with that wind direction in days where the ridge s overhead. Pretty cool. Also, they will go SW soon i think. On my way into work, winds were SW in downtown.
