I still had the ASOS number in the recents of my phone. :)

Back to 91F in the hourly METAR though.

Can you share the number? I used to have it but it must have changed. I stunned some folks at one of the Baltimore conferences maybe 7-8 years ago but having it come over speaker phone from my cell.

Today is #7 straight AOA 90 for BOS. 17 for the season. I sort of remember 8 straight in the summer of 94 but has it done other than then and now? Maybe 2002?

Interesting half of them came virtually the same week in august.

That launching pad of 81 sure helped lol.

We see this almost everytime, the day of a pm/eve fropa the daily high temp for at least eastern areas is underdone by a few degrees. Temps could get 95-96 or 97 in torch spots if we have another 90 mins of sun but mid level temps dont support 100

You thought by reading BOX AFD we were done with humid wx

No---I didn't "think" anything.  I posted what it read which said  "for the foreseeable future".  And, the phrase was "oppressive heat and humitidy"--just like Phil said.

Brutal noontime conditions.

Thanking the 7 years with easy to find snow records (nothing for 1872-73), average BOS snow wou ld be 37.6 the following winters. There are some good years but also several bad ones. Alot of spread.

Intersting spread wrt the months they took place.

2 June,

3 July

2 Aug

Would have anticipated a spread more tilted to July or August.

You're calling pure tropical conditions you're experiencing nice. Been a hot summer.

No--I'm calling the breeze nice.

 I have never seen anyone downplay one of the hottest periods in our history like he has the last 30 days

I've had one 90* day.  Last year, I had 2, the year before 1.  Sure I haven't had the frequent upper 70's, low 80's and instead have had highs in the 86-88 range.

My mins have been warmer than normal and it's been humid.  But since I don't cool much at night anyway, it hasn't been that crazy.
