The Euro has the best convection this evening toward the I-78 corridor and south where the steepest midlevel lapse rates are.

It is already this evening. We had a light shower around 30 minutes ago in HL with thunder to the SE.

As other mentioned this morning, it seems the rains from this morning took the juice out of most locations today.

Maybe you will be right, but current radar indicates it is a good night to fire up the grill.

Cheers,

Matt

A cell is developing pretty quickly right now along 78 on the outflow boundary from the previous storms and better lapse rates.

Storms blowing up 2 miles to my SE. KEWR reporting sustained winds at 21mph, gusting to 29mph, and +TS. I just can't buy a storm IMBY this summer. It looks like folks in the city should get in on some storms.

Missed a mile to my north...hoping those cells in somerset clip me

nevermind...they are taking a SE trajectory now toward middlesex cty
