wxmeddler
GFS is consistently saying no on the 100 mark.. but those dew's are downright horrible. Clouds may spoil the fun on Tuesday.
Ian
We haven't had this saturated of a ground in recent years. MOS has some big numbers a few days in a row tho. Tomorrow might be telling.

Subtropics
Very, VERY excited about the upcoming week. I will save money on bottled water this week!! I have naturally cold hands because my normal body temperature is between 95.5-96.5 degrees. Anything above 97 is a fever and I have never gotten above 99 in my life. It is on days like this where my hands finally feel normal.

PrinceFrederickWx
Biggest question I've had all year is if we could do a fourth year in a row with one of the hottest July's ever. Yes, we can.
wxmeddler
96-98 on the 4km NAM for tomorrow. I'm sure a PWS will hit 100 somewhere. Ocean City is gonna be cold comparatively, mid-70's there with the sea-breeze front.

But we haven't had big heat yet this summer, so its going to feel pretty hot, especially with high dews.

EastCoast NPZ
88 / 72 / 95 at Winchester. Not nice. Although completely worthless, long range Acuwxr forecast shows cooler temps after Saturday, and really nice weather after next Friday. Of course, Acuwxr is always dangling a carrot out there in that range.

wxmeddler
Glad you posted that, JT. I noticed the PWS near my house had a DP of 79... I had to do a double take 79 is still on the upper range of the possibilities for a true reading but more likely it's near 73-76. There are really two main factors that can go into bogus dew point readings. A is that dew point is really the hardest measurement of the basic weather variables to make a accurate instrument for. B is that the weather station site greatly effects dew point on a day like this because of evapotranspiration, and if the station is too close to vegetation that that can throw the dew point off. My guess is that for most stations it's a bit of a and a bit of b. Lucky for me and my station, roof's don't evapotranspirate and the fan on the radiation shield helps mitigate the "A" effect.
