July 8-10 Severe Threat

Consistent, if that's the word, wind with the storms moving through here. Nothing crazy, but gusty enough. Pouring buckets as well.

Not saying much, but probably the best storm of the year in the LAF.

Peak gust of 40 mph at LAF. Nice little garden variety thunderstorm.

Low-end severe storms here today. Tad bit of wind damage and a few golfball hail reports. Didn't get a good photo out of the day unfortunately. Ah well, on to the next round of severe (which looks very far off).

Chased that St Marys/Tavistock/Embro area severe storm. A couple of chasers had golf ball sized hail west of me and I can't put my parents car through that so stayed in the quarter sized and smaller stuff. Still had awesome winds though...100km/h. Flattened a few corn fields, shredded some trees, and knocked over a a couple of powerlines. Great chase today.

Unreal the amount of damage across NW Ohio, especially in Seneca County. Yesterday Seneca County was under a Level 3 because of the amount of debris and flooding. Houses lost roofs, many trees uprooted, and many rural areas will not have power until Saturday. Winds were clocked around 90 across the region
