TRCA have issued a flood warning for Toronto. Looking at radar those cells about to move over the flooded areas.

Also, reports say GO Trains are stuck in flood waters and the train cars are flooding forcing passengers to the second levels. Also reports people are jumping from GO Trains into the flood waters. People also trapped in their cars and on CP24 sounds like panic is ensuing.

pretty chill evening along the northside lakefront with lots of electrically active backlit towers bubbling to the north and out over the water...really top shelf stuff.

Sounds like my night last night at work, watching storms to my E and S moving away from me for 3 hours. It was a really nice light show.

Yeah we had one micro cell go up overhead and move south, another move out over the lake and now a third creeping down from the north...gives the beach front that tropical feel.

EC says rainfall at YYZ approaching levels last experienced during Hurricane Hazel.

Edit, YYZ unofficial 123mm...which is more than Hurricane Hazel.

INTERESTINGLY, THE AMOUNT OF RAIN REPORTED AT PEARSON INTERNATIONAL
AIRPORT IS APPROACHING THE VALUE REPORTED ON OCTOBER 15, 1954 WHICH
OCCURRED DURING HURRICANE HAZEL.  THAT DATE WAS THE SINGLE RAINIEST
DAY EVER REPORTED AT PEARSON.  121.4 MM FELL ON THAT DATE. RECORDS
DATE BACK TO 1937 AT PEARSON.
