davidbwx
I am at a point in my life where returning to college is not an option. I do not have a degree, but am an avid weather enthusiast. I work to stay abreast of any changes, updates, blogs, etc. I am self taught and have worked tirelessly to learn everything that I possibly can. I desire nothing more than a career in broadcast "weathercasting", but do not know how to get started. Like I said, financially, college is no longer an option. Is there any way to get a foot in the door and work forward?
WeatherFox
It will be tough to impossible without a degree, a connection or some may say a good voice, personality and looks. You can look for radio station and television internships to get some experience and contacts. Also, post forecasts and analysis here and make yourself known and respected. Good luck!
