12z GFS ens mean, central AL ftw!

offshore around CHS

100-150 miles off the OBX

Still loving the Ensembles and don't believe they're putting enough stock in the damming! And you are considered a MET to me and many others, superb knowledge and appreciate you!

Wow all the models converging is pretty amazing. Hopefully we can ride this wave into Saturday.

Especially when you sit back and consider how all over the place they've all been the last few weeks. If this holds we're all going to be like little kids again on Friday night, not able to sleep, anxious, but it's not going to be because we're waiting on Ol' Saint Nick.

GGEm at 108 further south than 00z run.

Much further south at 120hrs, 1009mb low near Brunswick GA. Will be interesting to see if this changes the HPC's thinking a little as they favored a 0z GGEM solution in the prelim disco. Hard to tell with the black and white maps, but I don't see a big phase happening, looks a little to late, although I could be wrong. Everyone north of a Jacksonville NC to Atlanta GA line would have a chance at some SN if this verified.

I'm off after today all week. So you can bet every night I'll be staying up if this keeps up.

That is my worry. Great things are coming into line now. Please give me this set-up in a few days.

Allan, Wanted to let you know that we appreciate your thoughts. Also, I enjoy looking at your research.

Also, the 88 storm (I was 9) was the best one of my life...So far!

What would be considered a good optimal phasing location for good dump on the SE? Would it be before going offshore back in Bama or Miss for example? I know for mby it would be bombing off Myrtle Beach probably.

It depends what part of the southeast you live in. for western NC and Tenn it would be earlier around the mouth of the Miss. Maybe even a tad earlier. But that would give everyone on the coast and central NC rain.
