CoastalWx
No hype, that couplet was pretty legit. It looked weak right where he was, but then tightened up just NE near Union.
Sugarloaf1989
Tornado warning here, but so far it's just extremely heavy rain.

CT Rain
No hype, that couplet was pretty legit. The one over Tolland though was virtually nonexistent. Went back and pulled the super-res and couldn't really find anything of not around 415-420. There was some weak stuff but nothing crazy. Radar is sampling >4kft AGL though. ROOSTA
That whole complex on the southern extremity is rotating. TOL ftw. They cross the border and poof. Rumbling is audible outside yet nothing on radar. Towers are percolating. Just rain will ya please.

CT Rain
Dual pol has some low CC/ZDR right next to on pixels around couplet... don't think Z is high enough but there certainly could be a small/weak signal for a bit of debris.

CoastalWx
Perhaps even the hills combine with CAPE were just enough oomph to gin up a little spinner. It doesn't take much when you have some shear an perhaps localized lower LCLs.

CoastalWx
Those extra higher dews over the vegetated countryside probably contributed! That probably did it. I knew there was a reason to keep a sprinkler going 24/7. This is the worst possible thing to happen. Now we have to hear all the high dew nonsense.
