This severe season has sucked...even for our low standards.

Hopefully we get a more favorable setup after mid-month if we can get some of those low heights to finally dive down and interact with a good airmass out of the midwest.

Man HRRR FTW again. It nailed the crappy cells so far in NE MA. Should have known that little bit of subby would hinder things. Let's see if it's right with last minute stuff.

I don't like the way it's handling stuff in NH right now, so I don't know what to think about it's convective evolution later on.

Earlier runs looked like it had a good handle on that. Maybe not verbatim but it said SNH FTW anyways. Looks like stuff in central MA getting going so hopefully It ticks east. Already stratus moving in from the ocean.

I'm almost hoping for that up here, so I can bring the TAFs down and not worry about bouncing CIGs all night.

some minor street flooding/deep ponding . near bog brook rd. Goffstown, NH

Been in Goffstown for most of the afternoon and it just poured for the last 90 minutes or so. No idea how much fell here but I'd assume well over an inch.

There is a great deal of moisture convergence across the region so as the ULL moves a bit closer we should fire up some more storms.  The issue is though, the stronger forcing may not arrive until later evening when instability will start to wane a bit so coverage may not be all that widespread.  The threat though is definitely for flash flooding...cape profiles are very skinny and vertical shear is quite meager.  There could certainly be an isolated strong to severe storm but as soon as a core goes up it's going to collapse a scan or two later.
