I just called to say , I love you!!

Thank you. We knew it. The most humid period in history and of our lives. WOW

Well, that's not what I said.  I said since 1949 and even if we had records going back before that, history is a long period.  I just try to post facts and I was actually thinking it wasn't that long but it does stand out and since I spent time on it, I thought I'd post it any way.  Still, it's summer and there were many stretches that were interrupted by a single day so it's not that special.  Everyone I know wants it to end real fast!

Even as the most humid stretch ever, how does this qualify as exciting weather? I like cold weather but I don't sit by the window and watch it "be cold". Most weather weenies get excited by severe weather, hurricanes, snowstorms and flooding, real weenies get turned on by cloud structures and storms a thousand miles away. This is just boring though, so while you may like this I just don't get why you're so ecstatic and "in you're face" about it.

Well it shuts down all the buffoons on here which is key. And you know me and I don't want it to end. It could end tonight though if we actually get a storm for once

Lol, just trying to understand. If we're talking record high temperatures then I'd agree but this is like a strech of 20 degree weather in January with below 0 dews for 10 days straight, extremely impressive but who cares.

Some decent cells now in NH along that front. Should see those build south a bit I think. S -Coast seabreeze kicking in too.

I think that's enhanced a bit from the morning complex of storms in the Gulf of Maine. In effect a bit of a backdoor front thanks to the outflow. Good news is that both sides of that boundary are being heated in eastern MA.

I think that's noteworthy and something viewers would be interested in. Hopefully PF, Will the troll , and Sultan will apologize. Unsure if ill accept

Apologize for calling you out on saying "wow" to a 90F temp at BDL? Go ahead and call the high mins impressive, that is legit, but when you say other stuff that is totally baseless, you deserve to get called out on it.

BTW, I don't recall you apologizing to Scooter, me, powderfreak, Ryan, or anyone else for you making all those ridiculous comments in June LOLing the idea of straitform rain or a coastal. Or when we said that the drought hype you were promoting was pretty much pure bunk and giving you climo on our droughts. Or when we told you how laughable your "Morch" idea was and that we wouldn't get a cold/snowy March again.

Demanding "apologies" while failing to give your own is the height of double standard. I almost always admit when I am wrong on an idea or forecast...it happens, and will continue to happen in the future. What I won't do is apologize for something that isn't wrong or baseless. You overhype weather on here. Some of what you say has merit, but then to spice it up you start tacking on all these phony claims and ideas.

Why is it wrong to correct baseless and incorrect claims? Do you promote inaccuracy on a weather board?

 As soon as I read MetHerb's post I thought dammit I'm going to have to eat crow for Blizz.

Well you are right on the dews at BDL, props. I know when to fold 'em.

Exactly. I like to talk weather with facts. I'll admit that dew streak is impressive but I like to have the facts to back it up...it's not open to interpretation that way. This doesn't mean it's the most humid summer of our lives. It doesn't mean it's the hottest. All it means is the dew point has been at an elevated level for the longest period of time since 1949. That's all.

I'd rather have facts than Blizz just shouting whatever comes to his hyped head.

Lol thanks dude. It's all in good fun, but most importantly for the love of wx and good science

Haha but don't think I'm going to stop ribbing ya for 90% of the ridiculous claims you make. Don't let it go to your head lol.

You got lucky with this one, as I'm sure there's no way you did any research before claiming the most humid time period in our lifetimes ;)

But I do enjoy a healthy weather argument as much as the next person on here...

As evident with his insistence last night that it's been "3 weeks" of high dews...

All this fighting is entertaining when there's no storms to talk about. :)

Ha, I don't think its really fighting. Its more correcting some "embellished" claims and a bit of friendly ribbing to go with it.

Sometimes you need to inject a bit of reality when too many posts become like science-fiction.
