No relief down this way?  Have to admit, it was nice to walk out the door this AM and not get hit with a wall of humidity and heat

Friday or Saturday may be better as ther front sags south. I'm not sure about this weekend. My concern is that the front is not going to push far offshore and keep us wet. MOS drops dews into the lower to mid 60s down your way at that time.

That would be good for a change of pace.   Can't do much more than swim (which we did alot of) last 4 days.  BDR +7.5 for the MTD.   LL must be in heaven shucking those oysters at the beach....took the little one there yesterday for a bit-was too hot except right at the water....

Watch for a pseudo-PRE this weekend too.

And then whatever the hell that ULL pushing into FL does. I guess my concern is that helps keep the WAR further west and thus the front a little closer?

Yeah I wouldn't count on that front clearing the coast. Models trended a bit drier overnight but I'm definitely leaving rain/storms in the forecast.

While the heat and HI have not been that opppressive out there, the lack of storms has made this a really boring stretch.  During the 2.5 days (?) of flood watch, we amassed .25" of rain and nothing since.

Thanksfully, I've been traveling a bit the last week so have managed to catch some storms along the way.  Maybe today will be different.

Good luck to all for storms today!

I'm not quite sure why BOX has a FFW for those areas outlined.

It looked like some of the global models like GGEM and UKMET really were hitting western SNE harder today.  Although it looks more like equal chances east v. west on the GFS and NAM.

All I know is this may be the summer of rain and storms for NNE... today looks active and so does Wednesday into Thursday.  Hopefully some of this stuff can hold together for SNE, too.

BTV WRF with a  12.35" total over the next 24 hours in the Upper CT Valley north of LEB.

Nothing has been as oppressive as CT has been ;)

Honestly up here that wasn't that oppressive...two days of highs above 85F and dews 65-70.  Its warm and sultry like summer, but nothing once-in-a-lifetime type stuff, lol.  Already back to a high of 81F yesterday and today we won't get out of the 70s.

I wouldn't mind letting Libations come back for 24 hours of trolling at the end of this warm stretch and then put him out to pasture again. I can only imagine how the last 5 days would have been with that brutal CT Blizz/Libations combo.

I probably would delete my account.

He should be allowed back. He really didn't do anything wrong. Folks hurl insults and death threats on here and they are allowed to remain

He's a constant troller. You would be done with him if we had a torch winter and he's posting pics of middle aged women on the beach and his grass greening in January.

A sick part of me almost wishes to see the torch twins fight over a mild winter in CT. Best friends in summer but not in winter, lol.

After last winter I'd be OK with a clunker though I certainly would prefer a lot of snow.

A 10-15" winter would be just great to watch the Kevin meltdown.

I wasn't here on the fourth, but I don't think there was much breeze that day.  So to be sure, that was a hot one.  Was back here on the 5th.  Very comfortable in the shade with a nice nw breeze.
