OceanStWx
The cell near Rutland VT has had a impressive couplet for a while, surprised it's not even severe warned. Lots of spin with these storms today, kinda surprising given the apparently mediocre shear - I say apparently because obviously something is creating those mesos... Shear is more than adequate for storm organization. I'm a little shocked the VT cell hasn't been warned either. That is in a nice environment to latch onto the theta-e gradient. The central MA storms are just competing for the inflow and the southern storm won out. Though there was a nice couplet at 0.5 degrees for a volume scan, I wouldn't be surprised if it spun something up.
joey2002
Noyes blew that call pike south with dews staying over 70. His call was for north of the pike: Matt Noyes @MattNoyesNECN 5 Jul Last three maps show CT/RI/SE MA struggle to see any substantial drop, but VT/NH/Northern MA see a *bit* of relief You owe him an apology... OceanStWx
Huh? Check the visible, marine air has moved into the CT/MA border area. Good severe threat should remain north of there. Maybe a flash flood threat as it sags back south.
