Definitely some sort of diffused boundary situated W-E through SNE.  N of which tolerable conditions have swept in..   Along Rt 2, DPs are in the 60 to 65 range, and Ts are 70 to 72, much much different that 1pm along these locations.   Meanwhile it's still rather sultry in CT/RI and SE/E Mass.   Although some low 60s DP have made it into BOS.

May be short lived, though get DPs back to 73 may be a stretch. There in the upper 50s upstream in NYS.  It depends on the wind trajectories.  The NAM says SW take back over tomorrow and so the DPs would likely sweep back in.

Sound like a broken record but severe is possible today in any storms that are able to fire.

As for tomorrow... it's a nice looking setup but the timing is too early. A window for early severe in eastern areas I think otherwise shear/instability are sort of out of phase. As the s/w moves overhead winds aloft die down and shear is meh.

What a weird pattern in the long range. Moist SE winds? Would be higher humidity, but tepid temps.

He's alive and well, I don't think he posts much here in the summer but he is active on another board.

Thanks.

Comfy night for sleeping--no fan needed with dp down to 62.  Not great, but a nice change anyway.

Temps are progged for upper 80's.  That forecast didn't work too well yesterday--hopefully today's will have the same fate.

Why did he say all of SNE? He was right for much of the area and I agreed.

Dews dropped off in many areas... not sure why Kevin's spiking the football.

Looks like a really wet pattern moving forward with many chances for convection. THIS DOES NOT MEAN EVERY SINGLE TOWN (I.E. TOLLAND) WILL SEE A LOT OF RAIN.

Dews were supposed to lower up to our north. The issue was the Pike south . How much rain do you think West Hartford will get?
