CT Rain
Well... the 70F dew stretch was fun while it lasted. AWT.... KBDL 051751Z 21013KT 10SM FEW045 33/21 A3012 RMK AO2 SLP197 T03280206 10339 20272 58012
CapturedNature
With dew-points I don't think so. I can access the data from NCDC, but I don't believe they list dew-points by day/hour. It looks like Wunderground has DPs and I could download delimited files of annual data. At least that would tell you what the DPs were during those periods of lows above 70°. Kevin, if you want to research it, that should tell you what you want to know.

free_man
89.1F out 81.7F in and it's quite tolerable. Indoor dews registering a paltry 59F. Clothing feels like straight out of the dryer.
N. OF PIKE
Ryan has the window unit which is a big key. Anyone without a A/C unit in Their bedroom window or central air in house is somewhat interesting to me. Is there anyone getting thru this period w.out one in sne. heavy_wx
Problem is finding a place that has that data available to be exported. I can't think of any. The NCDC has an archive of asos observations going back to 2000 here: ftp://ftp.ncdc.noaa.gov/pub/data/asos-fivemin/.

moneypitmike
Sadly right on the Tarmac at BDL it's now 69 . At least the planes are more comfortable LOL. The Pit's sitting at 86.9/71. My Davis reported a DP high of 78 at 11:30 this morning. Yeesh. Looks like a 90's phail. When it was so warm earlier, I thought there was a good chance that was going to happen. Increasingly unlikley ftw.

What is the big deal about using a fan? I get down right chilly in the middle of the night and pull on an extra blanket with that going.

Window fan is fine at night. Its actually during the day it gets a bit uncomfortable when we approach 90. But we've only had a few days like that. Those other days where the high was like 77-82, it wasn't bad at all.

Lots of shade over the house, close the windows in morning, turn on the dehumidifier, good insulation = very comfortable when we get home late afternoon. Sit in the back yard until dark, open windows at night and turn on the bedroom ceiling fans. Wake up and repeat. Works well for us and I hate this tropical weather. Ginx snewx
Everyone I've talked to is hating this summer. Tons of rain and clouds followed by excessive heat and useless high dews. You can't even go out in the evening because of the swarms of mosquitos. Just terrible.been absolutely great the last three days, beach was hot today but oh so refreshing. Salvaging what started out as a mank vacation. Very brown but not burned
