Roger Smith Posted July 2, 2013 Share Posted July 2, 2013 We're used to it. Hardly anybody lives in Death Valley, the name sort of gave things away. And Phoenix, Las Vegas etc,all air-conditioned inside, nice sprinklers of cooling mist outside, as long as you remember not to touch anything that's been in the sun, it just feels a bit warmer than normal heat. I was in Vegas in August 2011 when temperatures were almost this hot, and to be honest, with the low humidity, it was more tolerable than a muggy day in eastern North America. There are up to date ones going live on our YouTube channel every day, along with some city forecasts for various places in NZ and the US.
