Yeah...looks like some sites didn't get the full corrected ob at 9Z so the 19C gets incorrectly converted to 66F. Maybe they'll hit it between hours.

On a related note...

I think technology has advanced enough to the point where we should be able to get up to the minute obs from every ASOS/AWOS site out there. Most of the PWS sites have uploaded obs every 5-10mins. Having to wait an hour for the next "official" ob seems a little prehistoric. And no, I don't want to call an ASOS for the most recent updated ob.

Yeah there seems little doubt of a fropa late next weekend..but the heat rteurns quickly the following week. He's been calling for normal temps and dry air from late july on..Nothing shows that

I see a lof of NW flow in the interior. That very well may mean dewpoints in the mid to upper 60s.

Regardless--the climatological high temps of the year are a week out.  Then, we begin the welcomed descent to the cool seasons.  Summer sucks.

Hopefully the GFS is right with a BDF Tuesday into Wednesday. Seems like it's the only one out there, but even the euro hints at a weak one.
