WinterWxLuvr
Our pool water was 88 degrees this evening. Hottest reading in 8 summers here. Must be all the warm nights we've had. Ours was 88 yesterday as well. Not even remotely refreshing. Wife loves it, I prefer it about 75.
WVclimo
We picked up 0.20" from the storm yesterday. Felt fortunate to get it, since it blossomed right over us. Was in Hagerstown for much of the storm, and it was a pretty nice one there. Think the airport got 1.84"

mattie g
Hoping to play 18 today. Tee time is at 2:15, so hopefully some folks cancel because of the heat and potential storms, otherwise if we get some thunder we may not get out until after 3. It'll be toasty either way. Mrs.J
That line that went through Washington Co. and Northern Frederick Co. yesterday caused some damage. The bell tower at Mt. Saint Mary's was struck by lightning and it caught on fire. http://www.fredericknewspost.com/locations/local/frederick_county/article_f151208b-ff30-5c15-8c11-35bace44d39b.html

I have a gut feeling DC will be the northern limit of anything "decent" - more likely Woodbridge even.

snownut
I can't express in words descriptive enough how badly I hate the months of July and August. just July and August? I would say we there about 60-70 fun days per year (days with a good snow storm or pleasant perfectly sunny and dry) the other 290-300 a year I would put in the "hate badly" group.
