mattskiva
I went outside and felt a couple stray spits, but that's about it. Distant lightning and thunder, too. I won't mind missing a deluge, but a little rain would be nice. This rainstorm is insane. It's right over me - very localized FFW listing northwestern PW, southeastern Loudoun, southwestern FFX - I am in far SE loudoun, about 150 yards from FFX and 1.5mi north of PW. So far 2.75" of rain in the last 75 minutes, with more than 1.5" of that falling in one 35 minute period of time. Still pouring with thunder and lightning. My sump pump is working overtime. mattskiva
Monsoon here in southeastern Loudoun by Stone Ridge, making it hard to sleep I am about 5 miles SE of Stone Ridge. Monsson doesn't begin to describe it. I got 1.5" in a little over 30 minutes
mattskiva
all the western burb guys that have been complaining are going to get shellacked... Indeed - I have 2.75" today which gives me a total of 3.70" for the month of July. The great Loudoun Desert is finally getting rain!
