Per the NAM initialization, the arrowhead of MN has sub-freezing 850s right now. Entirely possible that if someone stays in the rain all day it will not get out of the 40s. In late July. Yech, I hope you get some good rain outta this. We were in that spot in Germantown for a while; all the rains were missing us and we had the big cracks and brown grass. Then suddenly our luck changed and we got 2.4" from training t-storms last Saturday night, and another 1.4 from a direct hit on Monday. But, our grass got so dormant in those three weeks that I STILL haven't cut it for well over two weeks. I am thinking Monday I finally get to it.
