weathermedic
I think there's at least a 50% chance CPK hits 100 this week. In fact, this week has some resemblence to me of that extremely hot week in the middle of July 1977. WX/PT Hopefully minus the blackout.

Santa Claus
I don't know about you guys, this is probably conformational bias, but ever since 2011 or so, I've expected high temps in the summer seem to come out a little higher than forecast. If Newark is being forecast for 95-97 for like 5 days in a row then I'm just expecting it to hit 100. Not that there's really a huge difference but people like to see those triple digits. By the way check out that cyclone rapping itself up over Texas.

bluewave
JFK already up to 87 degrees at 9am. West wind doing it's thing. JFK is the hotspot this hour. With Central Park at 82, it may have trouble getting much above 94-95 later with the wet conditions there going back to June. I will bet the temperatures come in below the NWS numbers. ...NEW YORK CITY... Weathergun
Already a deep-mixed layer, with 0-3km lapse rate of 7.0 C/km. This will cause temps to rise quickly, even with some clouds today.

These are the types of summer days that highlight the issues wuth using the park as the center for NYC (in your other thread). Anyways 100 certainly in reach for EWR, JFK, LGA and some others

Well, it's 2013 and the Central Park thermometer is still coveted under thick shrubs, so apparently you might be asking for too much.
IntenseBlizzard2014
The RH will max out at 50% tomorrow. Mainly due to the N/NNW/NW Wind @7-10 mph. At least then the heat won't be so uncomfortable.
