Typhoon Tip Posted July 7, 2013 Share Posted July 7, 2013 It is/was a temporary reprieve. ALB's DP back up to 72 this hour, and DPs are rising west to east across the area. FIT now back to 70. Substantial thinning/clearing also moving in. Temps are in the 86 87 range, and 850s support low 90s. As this clearing takes over, probable that we'll see some 3 and 4 degree spikes over the next couple of hours. Torridity continues... Thunderstorm chances might be higher later today. CON did even better with a low of 64F. Meanwhile, BDL had a low of 73F and every official CT site had a low in the 70s with dews in the 70s. It's been this way for days. It's not bad when clouds roll over head but otherwise, it's hot out. I need a vacation spot in northern Maine. 77/55 currently!
