Looks likw most storms may be pike north to cne

But there seems to be an instability axis to the south...over CT into RI and adjacent MA. The SPC WRF actually highlights this area. I don't quite buy the pike north thought..although the forcing is slightly better there...I think areas to the south may see sct stuff move in as well..although nothing widespread.

Of course...I go to VT where the focus for storms has been the past several days, and then the focus shifts south...What a fooking joke

I'm sure they'll be something there or nearby. Better shot tomorrow and Monday. Monday could be interesting here.

Where in vt wiz, and dont u look at models (or are u in vt to see a friend)

I'll be in Westminster west...southern VT. I did bring my laptop and got a day of service for my air card...not sure if there will be coverage.

I do have my phone but its hard to really look at things in detail...especially with a broken screen. And I'm not sure if I'll have 3G

or west west as the locals call it.  no 3/4g coverage there.  you can use the wireless at the Putney Co-op.

I just tested my air card and I have some coverage! Only using it for radar though if storms come close b/c of gr lvl 2 but I only have 200mb of data to use and I'm not sure how much that really allows you to use

In my experience 200mb would get you maybe about 2 hours of heavy use. Radar doesn't use a lot. I have 2GB of monthly wifi hotspot and if I just use radar it lasts a long time.

By "heavy" I mean pulling up weather maps, models, Twitter, etc. Not downloading or streaming anything. I try to ration for when/if I go out into storms.

I just got it in case there were storms around. I could use radar scope on my phone but if any storms were much stronger I'd fire up gr lvl 2.

Also, I could look at models later for tomorrow/Monday.

Any chance that open wave can come through during peak heating tomorrow or Monday?

I think Monday has the most potential as a shortwave swings through. Heating and the amount of clearing we get will be key, as usually is the case. I think tomorrow is a slight improvement from today, but nothing widespread.

get a dehumidifier, works wonders

Been there done that.

Unless there's a way to truly keep the humidity out (does not happen in our house), you just run the thing forever, the cycle never ends - run the machine, empty the water bucket, run the machine, empty the water bucket, run the machine, empty the water bucket.

Of course we could attach a hose, but in the end, the humidity always gets back inside and the cycle becomes perpetual.

Man what a torch in Newport. 90 to the beach with monster dews. No jellyfish. Cool water. Boobs bouncing all around

Newport is great for this.

You should drive down to Watch Hill and visit Taylor Swift.

LOL.  When we were at the beach in Westerly on the 4th folks at the bar were talking about how she came in by helicopter.  My wife and I almost bumped into her the other day with my minivan.  Was heading to the Target in Waterford, and she was too.  Not sure why there.  I didn't realize it was her until we were leaving the Target and the employees were telling us how she was there for only a few minutes and had to bail due to people coming up to her.  I wouldn't have known her from a hole in the wall if I wasn't told.

awesome, my fav place. Blizz go down to the atlantic beach club for drinks and scenery!

Tons of scenery, including R.I.'s best selection of dudes on 'roids.

Whoa did you actually see her then?  I'm surprised Taylor could go anywhere without getting mobbed, lol.
