CT Rain
There certainly is some rotation evident with this Meh. Pretty broad and weak. And Kevin... they are pretty looking CBs because they're isolated so you can get a nice view but it's only up to like 30kft lol.

CT Rain
Given the environment that thunderstorm between Petersham and Shutesbury could certainly go tornadic.

Tropopause_Fold
1-hr rainfall radar estimates of 2-3" out there. not sure how reliable that is...but i'm sure they are getting hammered around east hampton/amherst and now NE of there by the quabbin. Modfan
Does all this action eventually shift east over the weekend or are the areas getting hit closest to ULL?

Mr. Windcredible!
This really has been a bummer of a week. While I appreciate the heat and humidity...4 Slight risk days here have amounted to nothing more than a 5 minute downpour and a few rumbles of thunder last night. Tropopause_Fold
Does all this action eventually shift east over the weekend or are the areas getting hit closest to ULL? I think severe threat remains over the interior but rain threat shifts east, if that makes sense

weatherwiz
I just realized why I'm so aggravated. It's b/c of people at work. Camp just started Wednesday, and of the 8 hours, about 5.5-6 of them are spent outside so I get asked lots and lots of questions about the weather. They ask me in the morning and throughout the day, what's the weather going to be like this afternoon or later on...I've been saying, there is a threat for showers/t'storms every afternoon...I say that and they aren't satisfied with the answer, and they literally want to know specifically what it will be like in West Hartford...HTF can you give a specific location forecast, especially with convection which is usually hit and miss? Quincy
Southerly wind component is generally not your friend if you like severe weather in southern New England. The few decent events we had this year were more out of the NW.
