Chicago WX
Not near as dramatic a turnaround as March 2012/2013, though it's not really possible to do so in July, but projecting July 2013...it will finish 10 or so degrees cooler than July 2012 at IND. Of course March and July 2012 are in the stratosphere as far as warm/hot months go. Comparisons between the two: average temperatures and departures from normal. Hoosier
Even with it having the most sub-80 days at LAF, I would guess that there have been several Julys that were cooler than this one. Still, -2.8 for the month is respectable since the deviation from average is less during summer.
harrisale
Rain in store for today, looks like anywhere from 0.5"-1.00". Man things have been dreary lately, much as the rest of the subforum has seen. I was at a music festival on Sunday after the cold front passed through and it was the strangest feeling waking up to sunny skies but temperatures that required jeans and a sweatshirt for the day. cyclone77
Had a few hot days in July, but nothing too extreme. Definitely nothing like last summer, which isn't surprising considering how hot that was. Didn't have much for storms in July, but did pick up quite a bit of rain.
