wxmeddler
That's just crappy construction there. That whole wall is in a slightly parabolic shape now. Bad design there.
andyhb
Definitely some rotation showing up with the cell in behind the TW'd one.
MN Transplant
Yeah, but it's pretty sunni here. That combination usually leads to something blowing up. That took me a while to get. Nicely played.
snowfan
weird ^ Poor construction will do that.
adelphi_sky
Looks like the same area in Fairfax, southern DC about to get hit with that intensifying storm.
snowfan
Poor construction will do that. And that entire building should be checked out ASAP. Would not feel comfy sleeping there

BlizzardNole
Line back west is more or less dead. We did have a ton of rain the first half of June but since then it has been back to normal in the Central Maryland Desert Region with just 0.4" combined the last two weeks. I am calling it now - despite good chances of t-storms for the next six days, we will get lass than 0.5" total here. I am going out this evening to water the gardens. Its pretty funny looking to my north then to my south and seeing 2 super cells and not getting anything but a flatulent outflow gust from the Manassas cell. """Whooopppiee". I am happy for those who received though.

09-10 analogy
I like these days that feature round after round, with none of them being too severe (at least IMBY). June 4 2008 had several rounds, but the first one was a real heavyweight, of course. Nothing like that today. No one storm today has been at all memorable, but there's nothing wrong with hitting the repeat key and getting some modest action every 45 minutes or so. yoda
Absolutely horrendous when driving... torrential downpours putting vis below 1/4 mile a lot... sometimes beneath 1/8 about 15 mins ago... good crack of thunder and occasional CG strike...
