Wasn't a real complaint, took too long in the beer store and Giant lol

I need a tornado for it to be a real birthday tho

I'll send an Ef-3 to christen the new house. ;)

About a half inch of rain from an oddly north/northwest moving cell(s).  A bit of thunder at times.

You in Pleasant Valley or Westminster proper?  I live over by WTTR radio and Royer Rd.

That phrase should make any one excited about severe prospects, but after this spring and summer, expectations have been set. At least personally. I'd rather read those words, "keeps looking better" 2 hours before storms roll through.

it's a great trough .. best look of the week there. just not sure exactly where the front will end up. i'd rather be south a bit.

there was a clearly defined, yet small, core of rotation moving through central PG county earlier but the severe thunderstorms it spawned were along Bay side of eastern shore. If that core had been 30 miles further west the DC area would have been hit hard.

we're not even good at heat this year...we suck at all weather except annoying wind

we also do droughts fairly well...except not this year....yet...

can't forget about below avg snowfall either.  That we get grade As in.

nothing really happened with that mcv anywhere i don't think. it probably screwed up the day more than anything around here.

this pattern is really interesting even if it sucks.. there might be severe potential every day for another 5-7 days somewhere in the region.  tomorrow could be a sleeper--the front is so wimpy and washing out.

Honestly at this point I'm getting so sick of walking outside and immediately being covered in humidity/sweat. Not much to show for it here IMBY the last few days.
