Look at those dp's!  Montreal and Burlington VT 72,  Concord NH 73, Manchester NH 74, Nashua NH 75.   I don't know how people can live in Florida with endless dewpoints 70-75F and 90F heat for month after month.

I guess we know what areas are south of the warm front

Curious to what your total is since like May 8th? You NH guys this week have been gaining ground on the VT totals. You must have a decent July total already too?

I've had 18.10" through the tipper since May 8th...

May 4.45"

Jun 9.24"

Jul 4.41" so far

Ended up with 1.72" in the gauge this morning!!!  Makes sense why we had Flash flooding across the river in Fairlee, VT that inadvertently caused a kitchen fire, when the home owner went out to see his driveway washing away!!! After we finished with the fire we we had trees that had been undermined from the brook and had fallen on wires.

4.23" so far for July

Brian did you get that torrential downpour and flash flooding the other day?  By far the worst we have seen, road washed out, our pond literally rose 3 feet, got into the vegetable garden washed a heavy door through the pond into a stream, picked up at 75 pound whiskey barrel with potatoes growing in it and washed it away. unreal

Which one? I had one that ponded the yard pretty well and gave me almost 1.5" in 1-2hrs.

May 6.76"

June 8.74"

July 2.07" thru 7 AM

Total 17.57"  My avg for May 1 thru July 10 is 10.08", and 2013 is now 2" above my avg.

Heavy shower at my place over the past hour - I'm at work so don't know how much or if there was thunder, but Doppler estimate shows over 1/2" (not included above.)  Just began pouring here in AUG, south edge of this line.  I think it misses Jeff.

Got less than you guys to the south last night... only 0.62" here overnight.  Right around 20" since May 8th.  Since January 1st we are at 28.75".

This brought me over the 5" mark for July... though a far cry from the jackpot so far this month which has been from the Camels Hump area of Huntington south through Granville Gulf where 6-8+" has fallen

South of Warren, VT has seen 8.69" of rainfall in the first 11 days of the month!  That is obscene.

Water every day.

What is interesting is that over the time period since this wet pattern started after the first week of May, there are a lot of us spread pretty close in total water... like 17-21".  J.Spin probably has seen the most at like 21.5" but I'm just a shade under 20", you and Allenson are in the 18-19" range and Tamarack is closing in on 18".

That's pretty consistent for posters in three states over such a long period of time.  One or two more downpours and you are at 20" while one or two less downpours and I'm only at 17".  Pretty consistent overall considering the variability of localized downpours.

Same gauge as mine

Mine too, I think, though PF's is a lot clearer/cleaner than mine.  ;)

(Is it set atop a post for the pic?  Otherwise, I can't figure how it's mounted.)

Shower ended in AUG; could see bright sky to the south throughout, like Hallowell got rain and neighboring Farmingdale didn't.  Summertime...

27.37" for the calendar year now.

I just need a dry week or so--my shop is disgusting right now.  Sweaty concrete floor, mold growing on metal (no joke), green algae growing on wood and a funky smell....

And to think, for once in my life I was actually looking forward to summer this year.  :arrowhead:

lol, His looks fairly new, I have stuff growing in mine, Plus the top is cracked where i dropped it, It looks like he has it sitting on something just above the ground, Mine is mounted on a post to the specs that the instructions had with the gauge

Mine's on a 5' cedar post, with the bracket level with the top so the gauge extends another 4-5" above.  It gets washed each fall when I take it in for the winter (no matter the instructions, I don't trust it to survive a 1" rain followed by flash drop into the teens or singles, not unknown here.)  Despite careful washing, it's still slightly opaque though it turns 4 only next month - not all that old.  I cracked the bottom slightly trying to force it thru an icy layer to obtain an LE core in 2011, though it wasn't leaking and the added duct tape should keep it that way.

2nd downpour in AUG ongoing, though much less than #1, and this one has the dark clouds reaching at least to the south horizon.

lol yep I just got that one... I had been working with one that didn't measure hundredths and it was driving me bat-sh*t crazy, so I had to rely on the Stowe CoCoRAHS guy for the detailed amounts (that station is about a mile away).

Right now its not mounted to specs... its on a post on the planter bed that's like 16" off the ground at the top of the post.  I was just trying to get it as high off the ground as possible, though I really have no idea how high water can "bounce" back up off the ground or plants and into the gauge.

I had 0.62" and the guy a mile away put up 0.59" on CoCoRAHS so its at least in the ballpark.
