Brick Tamland
Looks like a clipper could bring some snow to the area on Dec 21st. Discuss here.

Weather Czar
I hate to say it but, this has fail written all over it. You might want to move on to next weekend brick.
Brick Tamland
True. But we got some pretty good snow out of the last clipper here.

Poimen
I know clippers rarely give us want we want, BUT I see no reason to dismiss this one at the start. Although the GFS is not painting a good picture, the GGEM/EC indicate the possibility of something similar to the past two events. So let's see how it shakes out in the next few days. Jonathan
I'll never complain about a clipper again, as the last one gave me 4.5" when "a dusting to an inch" was forecasted for my area.
POWERSTROKE
looks like next weekend will be rain. If everybody remembers the GFS had snow here Christmas Day. It was 300 hours away now we are a week away. Looks like rain though

BIG FROSTY
JB clipper update Saturday morning. Right on its heals is a clipper who's track should be displaced about 100 mile further north with its axis of heaviest snow. This should take a 3-6 inch band 100 miles either side of the line from Bismark to Morgantown WVA, in the Monday-Tuesday period, with the band then turning into a 1-3 inch affair9 75 miles either side of the line from Morgantown WVA to Cape May for its final leg.. Tuesday afternoon this upcoming week, may be alot like Thursday was, only a bit further north in the mid atlantic states.
Weather Czar
Frosty, we have a better shot at the Christmas storm than this clipper.
oconeexman
Let's remember how much quicker the last 2 systems have been to get here compared to the model forecasts. Not sure where the clipper track is headed but can guarantee it will reach places 6-12hrs ahead of schedule.
Brick Tamland
So, should I take the silence in this thread to mean the clipper for Tuesday is no more an option?
