Storms seem to be falling apart the further east they go, what causing that?

With the lack of shear there is really no separation between the updrafts and the downdrafts...the high amounts of cape have really helped support consistently growing updrafts, as well as cold pool moving just to our west, but eventually the downdrafts are just going to win out and cores will collapse and with instability probably beginning to wane some, cores will have a tough time really regenerating.

This has been a terrible season so far, just absolutely pathetic, terrible, awful, ridiculous.

Seems to have played out pretty much as expected though...not a huge day as advertised by some, but a few decent storms with hail mixed in with very heavy rainers.

Repeat the same thing several times over the next week.  But widespread severe doesn't necessarily look likely...just lots of thunder & lightning and heavy rain.

Radar still looks decent though with heavy rainers...lots of 1-2" storm estimates on radar.
