radarman
As has been the case the past month it looks like it will miss Greenfield just to the S. (Probably MPM too) Have not ben able to buy a T-storm this year. Solid looking line though. radar.gif The strongest core might just miss you to the S but it should start raining in G'field in the next 5 minutes or so. Have to say I was pretty impressed by some winds I say along Rt. 112 in Buckland just south of Rt. 2. Definitely pushing severe criteria.
joey2002
Pretty cool: check out the loop of the storm in Tolland County as it inhaled the storm that was over BDL. http://weather.cod.edu/satrad/nexrad/

dendrite
Very close strikes two in a row now. No hail here, love those ones when it's flash and boom almost instantly. Love/hate with those. I've had wx equipment fried from a close strike once. I could do without them considering I have an ungrounded 20ft mast above my garage with an anemometer on top of it. I don't have any equipment to lose, only a tree or two that could fall. But wouldn't pose any risk to the house. There was at least six of those instant thunder strikes here from that cell. The last one was so close it sounded like a static discharge and then thunder right after.

HIPPYVALLEY
Yeah, I'm about 10mi too far N. Some moderate rain and a few rumbles but no visible g/c. I bet Deerfield and Whately and Amherst got pounded.

Worst of it will go north of Amherst. East Deerfield, near River Rd. getting really hit hard, and wouldn't surprise me to see tree damage there. Very cool sky at UMass though and scud.
