weatherwiz
Keep an eye on that sea breeze boundary working north in CT as it hits the storms coming in from west seems like the sea breeze boundary is contributing to 20-25 knots of bulk shear too. dendrite
10.29"/hr rain rate on the Davis. That includes 0.13" in 1 minute and 0.51" in 10 minutes. Nice storm. 0.77" total and counting. Still getting some close CG strikes...haven't looked at NLDN or radar yet to see if they're some back side positive strikes. They have a different crackle to them. weatherwiz
Starting to rumble here again. The hail here earlier was between 5-8 mm. Do you know what the size was? (please don't say marble) and about the timeframe?
eekuasepinniW
Biggest I saw was dime size...hailed for about 5-10 mins. How'd it look on cam Scott? Missed it. Will check the archive. Got slammed with outflow and had to gather up all the chairs that had blown all over the driveway and also into the pool. Nice score with your 10.29 in/hr rain rate. This storm looks so impressive on radar but when the core (21:07) was overhead, the rain let way up and it started spitting a few small hailstones. Never really poured... 0.17"
joey2002
Seems ripe just to Kevin/Joe's west, East Windsor,Somers. Ellington? Yeah it drifted just north of here, watching it around Ellington/Stafford now, but lots of rumbles.
Connecticut Appleman
Do you know what the size was? (please don't say marble) and about the timeframe? It occurred at 4:20 and the size of the biggest hail at its peak was right around 8 mm with the smaller pieces were about 5 mm.

wxmanmitch
Pretty good storm just rolled through here. Tons of cloud to ground lightning, heavy rain, and some brief pea sized hail. Not much wind...peak gust was probably around 25-30 MPH with the outflow boundary.
HIPPYVALLEY
The segment cruising down the Mohawk trail toward MPM is pretty strong. As has been the case the past month it looks like it will miss Greenfield just to the S. (Probably MPM too) Have not ben able to buy a T-storm this year. Solid looking line though.
