noctilucent
Another torrential downpour for the past 30 mins. After 1.38" yesterday afternoon, we will probably have another inch or so from this mess. Any idea when this pattern will break up?
iceman56
So, it looks like June came in #6 wettest in PHL. And would have beat the wettest July's on record as well. Nice to see July starting out on a wet note as well with almost 1/2 the month's average rainfall on the first morning.

noctilucent
could this be a summer with no dormit backyard grass? Do you mean "dormant" as in little or no growth? If so, that is some seriously bad spelling, dude.

tombo82685
The goldilocks zone of course the disintegration of the second surge saved many areas from flooding made sense, cause the lift and dynamics were shot after the first round.

famartin
Is there a way to pull an accumulated precip map for the past 10 days? I don't think 10 is an option here, but you can check 7, 14, 30, 60, etc... http://water.weather.gov/precip/?loctype=WFO&loc=wfoPHI

Thunder Road
Quick 0.35" from that heavy shower the last 15 minutes. Very similar to what happened in South Jersey about 3 hours ago: what looks like a training line of showers that's actually propagating slightly to the east.
