LMolineuxLM1
Hilarious watching this "thing" fizzle making it's way east. $higgy thunderstorm year, lackluster hurricane year, don't even get me started on last 2 winters......phillies suck, flyers sucked, eagles $hat the bed..... Boooooorrrrrrriiiinnnngg Couple mins later: I went to bed didn't even bother staying up to film for any lightning.

Voyager
All i ask for is a thunderstorm, just give me one this summer We had two that were decent, although not severe. Problem was, they were nocturnal and I slept right through both of them. All of the others were nothing more than rain producers with a rumble or two of thunder. Thunder Road
It might be clogged Well obviously something's not right. It's been complaining about a low battery for a long time too, and occasionally (usually in winter when sunlight is least) it'll go out for a little while before sunrise. So maybe that happened last night and this morning? I'll check it later though and see if there's a pine needle in there or something.

Thunder Road
February 5, 2001 snow storm: http://philadelphiaweather.blogspot.com/2013/08/historical-case-study-of-february-5.html
Thunder Road
I've been doing case studies for Tom's blog, and I only have a few opportunities left before I go back to school. I'm considering the July 2004 flooding in South Jersey, and the 1933 Potomac Hurricane (but I'm not sure if I'll find enough data on this one). Anyone have suggestions for an event they'd like case-studied? After 2000 is much preferred, because I can actually get model data too for those days. Harbourton
Was watching the Cincy-Cubs game and they had on Tom Skilling{ respected weather forecaster in Chicago) to sing "Take Me Out to The Ballgame." the base ball announcers were asking him about his staunch belief in global warming and how come it was 65 degrees at game time on August 14. He retreated to say it's climate change.
