Chinook
After all that talk about yesterday being a big day for South Dakota (and Minnesota?), it turned out to be a damaging day for parts of Wyoming and Colorado, not too far away from me. Hopefully I-80 wasn't too damaged by that tornado at 0058z. I guess there wasn't much to kick off the convection in Nebraska in the daylight hours. TORNADO WAS ON INTERSTATE 80. Jonbo
Omaha metro area caught off guard with near 70mph winds. Almost 50,000 without power and quite a few trees down across the area.
