Definitely doesn't feel cool. In fact, still a bit humid so for sne the back door is a bit wimpy and already starting to go back as a front door wf.

I think it feels great out. Going out for lunch at Copley in about an hour. Looking forward to temps in the 60s...can't say I think that's warm for June 27th at lunchtime in BOS. Though you are correct that the real "cold" stuff is up in Maine with temps in the 50s.

Walking up the hill to work this morning was still sweaty though I have a suit on today so that's part of it.

I pull death valley up on my app and it has hi/ lo's of;

120/91. 126/93 127/95 then at least that for next 3 days

From "9 miles wnw of Furnace Creek" (aptly named), i came up with

121/96 (today)

125/98 tomorrow

128/98 saturday

129/101 sunday

129        monday

The forecast icon reads "hot".  At least it's a dry heat.

Just got back from grabbing lunch...very marine out still. Can smell the salt the in the air even back in Copley/Back Bay.

Can't complain though. This is my kind of day for a global pattern that doesn't support a BDF getting into SNE:

Looks like it's still up in Maine.

At any rate, BDF will lift north this afternoon but then it will probably come back SW tonight and early tomorrow AM as the synoptic low to our southwest begins to organize more. So tomorrow morning could start off pretty murky as well.

You can see the marine taint well on visible.... down the New England coast into NE CT.

If we had S/SW winds our temps would be in the upper 70s/80s.  But no, we're stuck in the marine muck with temps in the 60s/low 70s.  Looks like it's N of EWB as they are in the upper 70s as well as the HYA/FMH

still an onshore component to the wind, but it is starting to come around to the SE. those spots have also managed some clearing, which helps. lol.

HYA at 77 with a SE wind while PVC is 64 with a E wind...EWB at 79 with SW wind while PYM is 68 with E wind. Front is starting to lift north though...clouds slowly eroding down there.

Man just looking at the SNE temps... colder than I expected in spots as of 12:40pm.  ORH with 66/64 and Woodstock, CT at 66/65.  All Tolland stations right around 69-71F.  If that front wasn't there it'd be like 84F right now.

All the while its in the mid 80s out near ALB.  Who would've thought there was a front in there somewhere?
