A front is defined by the wind shift and pressure change. Notice pressure falling at BDL early this morning and now it's rising slowly with a light N or NE wind. That's whatever is left of the front passing through. Whether there is some immediately discernible change in air mass is irrelevant to defining a frontal passage.

We do not agree. To each their own.  a windshift does not define a fropa

So I guess on a 50 degree winter day that features an arctic fropa evident by slow fall off of temps in the afternoon before. They plunge after dark we're still pre frontal until dark? No one agrees with this and it is spin vs meteorology.
