81F yesterday and 87F today for highs...thunderstorms have kept us from reaching 90F.

Even torch spot BTV got to 89F at like 12-1pm and on pace for easy low 90s but storms rolled in and kept them from 90 again.

The epic damaging drought getting hyped in April and early May has turned into 11-16 inches of rainfall up in this part of New England since May 10th. 

 

We are *only* at around 6" so far for June but should be able to add to those numbers over the next week. 

 

I still vote for the damaging drought to be on the biggest fails I've ever seen hyped on these forums, lol.

The worst part of it was we were trying to say how rare it is for NE to get damaging droughts...and it was still hyped.

We've progressed from a drought of biblical proportions to some serious rain amounts over the last month with the totals piling on as least thorugh the next week.  Lets hope we can save some moisture for winter.

Awesome---I just learned I need to head to Philadelphia on Thursday evening and return around noon on Friday.  Guess I should hold off on getting the car washed.  Kevin will be pleased to know that I'm trying to keep my new car's interior and exterior looking good.  Not a bad idea since there's always the chance I'm taking a client out to lunch.
