CoastalWx
that's what always sells me wife on staying up north. bugs, spiders, poisonous stuff etc that live down there. she'd go south in a heartbeat but i can always trump it with a crazy snakes or spiders the size of basketballs. I do enjoy visiting there...just can't live there. Besides my brain slowly rotting away if I did live there.....some of the craziest news stories are always out of FL. CoastalWx
Lol. We've waited a long time for this. Will must hate it. Not only was I right , but he gets 15+ days in a row of wx he can't stand Well lets be fair..we were talking about Thursday and Friday. I don't recall any pattern disagreements. The worst part about Florida is the yellow jackets nests...they don't die in the winter there like up here so they become absolutely enormous in size. Very commonly getting over a million wasps in a nest. At any rate, I've lived in Texas before, but Austin had more of a dry heat in the summer. The spring would be more humid but at least you get rewarded with high end severe weather there.

N. OF PIKE
The gators in florida is the real fun part. All the canals and waterways in and around developments, lots of gators sunning themselves, kev would have to practice running zig zags prior to running down there. If he can run this am then he should be fine in fl, just dont run after sun is out. I mean it was usually 75/73 for a am low or so, in sfl. forkyfork
it doesn't look like solid ovc/ra after friday... more like convective with early afternoon highs in the 80s

As much as I love dews it makes distance running very difficult. When I do a long training run say 12-20 miles I lose 5-7 lbs in wx like this. It was 71 dew this morning
powderfreak
Built one of the last snowmen of the season... not sure the few remaining drifts from the winter up top will survive the next week. Blizz must be stoked that Frosty will meet his demise quickly.

Some places down here w/o it, mainly older houses....I would never rent a place w/o it....
CoastalWx
Yeah I'm not convinced we don't get some of that Thursday or Friday...despite "the global pattern not being conductive for it". I still think we'll have E-SE winds here, but we'll see. Maybe CT escapes or something like that..but I'll be surprised if KBOS stays SW right5 through the weekend. Typhoon Tip
96 hour operational Euro was a complete reversal on what it had just two cycles ago. When/where it had BD through with implied strata loading and cool murk, it now has a pocket of 18+C at 850mb over SNE, and the pressure tapestry argues for SW flow even into NE Mass!
