Well I guess I'm still saying this with fingers crossed, but yes. Moving to Weymouth. We outgrew our condo. Time for a house. This has been the most stressful 3 months ever. Just stupid stuff like snags and almost losing the deal etc. I didn't even want to discuss because for a while I wasn't sure if this would happen. If all goes well and I hope....we close Friday.

Congrats, Scott==I hope Weymouth gives you better snows than Dorchester!

I remember these mud wasps or some sort of bee that drilled into the boards of the house....I think that's what they were....regardless, it would sound like a B2 bomber coming in. Just a massive flying insect at night buzzing around the corner boards of the house.

Freaking June bugs (I think that's what they are called) are the worst.  Big-azz beatle like things that refuse to die.  About 10 years ago I was heading out on the porch up at the lake house and one flew right into my eye and gave me a bruise.

Where you moving too? Staying in the same general area, or maybe a condo at 2kft near Killington? ;)

Same town.   Very nice place, but there's no doubt I was yearning to go west and north.   Looked out on the east slope but just didn't find the right home.

We're on the 5 year plan... if things go well maybe I'll be able to have that ski house before I'm 40.  We locked in the interest rate at the rock bottom so that's a start  For now it'll be day trips and living vicariously through the folks up in the high country.

It wasn't our first pick, but pricing was right. I Acfually would rather be more on the s shore, but commute is important and it would be a disaster if I did. Can walk to the commuter rail and 15 min drive from the city. It's in a nice neighborhood and a good school around the corner for Bryce when the time is right. I'll miss the city though.

Congrats! Commute is going to be a long one. I thought commuting from Dedham was bad enough.

With dews 65-70 thru Sunday. This is all we were saying..not 50's-60's and stratiform rain.

BTW thanks for the nice words about me last night

I don't think anyone called for stratiform rains, but Thursday and Friday may be close to -10 for highs and cloudy and rather wet is euro ensembles and GFS op are right. That's all we mean.
